Below are links to the Legacy 2.0 version or the Original Care Guides.  Notice. These will work better for Dial Up or Slow connections and for those of you who do not have the ability to open or view Adobe PDF format files.

NOTICE: However, these do not contain the Updated Care Information or the Breeding Information

I started the Ultimate Care Guide in 1998 to allow common everyday help for boa care and husbandry.  This was the first boa care guide with both, full color photos, and informative and helpful information for the boa constrictor owner. It was written as a direct contradiction to the only internet based care guide known at the time, a poorly written care guide that stated mis-information and  actually called us irresponsible for wanting to own a boa constrictor as a pet.  RedTailBoas.com exists today because of the need for a quality care guide to help the novice and the breeder continue to care for these amazing and wonderful pets.   This latest version only shows the commitment to continue to improve this care guide.
